Astrology of Injury

The injury is damage to the body. This may be caused by accidents, falls, hits, weapons, and other causes. Major trauma is an injury that has the potential to cause prolonged disability or death.

Parameters :

6th/8th/12th houses : are considered to be inauspicious in a horoscope. 

8th house/lord  :  causes injuries and accidents .

Mars : is the significator of injuries,  often prone to accidents and injuries especially those involving bruises or bleeding.

Rahu/Ketu/Mars/Saturn : causes sufferings 

Venus /4th house: indicates injuries/accident from a vehicle.

Sign Aries : Represents  Brain, upper jaw, teeth, ears, eyes, cheekbones, facial muscles, headaches, migraines, toothache, earache, inflammation, neuralgia, nose bleeds, injuries due to accidents, injuries due to violence, high blood pressure, fever.

Uranus : is all about unexpected, unexplained, unforeseen and sudden changes, circumstances, and/or opportunities. It’s also about innovation, independence, and freedom. On the other hand, it can also be about rebellion, eccentricity, and intolerance.

Combinations : 

for Accidents :

1. 8th house/lord afflicted by Mars and Rahu causes accidents. 
2. 4th and 10th house badly afflicted indicate serious injuries.
3. Moon + Mars combined in 4th house and aspected by malefic indicates accidents. 
4. Sun in the 10th house being aspected by Rahu from 4th house .
5. Lord of the ascendant  + lord of  8th house  in 4th house.
6. Sun and Jupiter are afflicted and forming  a relation with the 6th/8th/12th house. 
7. Weak lord of ascendant +  Rahu/Ketu/Saturn in 6th house.
8. Weak lord of the ascendant + lord of 8th house in the 6th house. 
9. Weak lord of ascendant +lord of 6th+lord of 8th +Mars indicates major accidents.
10. Sun in the 10th house aspected by Mars from 4th house leading to vehicular accident.  

For Injuries : 

Mars :

1. Mars+Lord of 6th sitting in ascendant indicates  injuries.
2. Mars+Saturn+Rahu in any house indicates injuries. 
3. Mars+Moon in 6th house.
4. Saturn +Mras in 6th /12th house.

Ascendant : 

1. Lord of ascendant + a malefic planet aspected by Mars .
2. Lord of 6th house + Rahu/Ketu placed in ascendant. 
3. Lord of ascendant + lord of 4th house + lord of 8th house sitting in a house indicates injuries.
4. Sun + Saturn in ascendant  in Rahu/Ketu axis leading to fall from a tree.

4th house/lord:

1. Association or aspect of Mars on the 4th house.
2. Saturn in the 4th house, Moon in the 7th house and Mars in 10th house.
3.  An exchange between 4th and 6th lords.
4. Mars in the 4th house with Sun or Saturn in the 7th house

8th house/lord :

1. Lord of ascendant + lord of 8th house + Rahu/Ketu /Saturn in 8th house indicates severe injuries.
2. Saturn+ Mars + Rahu together in the 8th house.

Others : 

1. Presence of malefic in the quadrants.
2. Rahu or Ketu in 6th or 8th / 12th house with a quadrant or a trine lord.
3. Moon + Sun in 3rd house.
4. Moon in 2nd house ,Mars  in 4th house and the Sun in  10th house ,indicates injuries.
5. Sun in 4th,Saturn in 8th and Moon in 10th indicates injuries .
6. Uranus relates to accidents, especially injuries to the ankles and feet .
7. Uranus-Mars aspect indicates freak accidents with cars, explosives, guns, electricity and lightning .
8. Sun -Uranus aspect gives head injuries.
