Acupressure : How to Diagnose Intestinal Worms


Intestinal worms are parasites in the gastrointestinal tract, primarily on the intestinal wall, that affect people and other organisms. There are different types of intestinal worms that affect people, but the most harmful are roundworm, pinworm, whipworm, and tapeworm.

Depending on the type of intestinal worm, a person may experience different symptoms like stomach paingasdysentery,diarrheabad breathconstant feelings of hunger, restless sleep, itching around the rectum, anemia, weakness, weight loss, frequent headaches, fever, nausea, pain in the legs and nutritional disorders.

Acupressure : How to Diagnose Intestinal Worms 

Hurting pain on the following point indicates presence of intestinal worms :

  1. Severe pain on the outer side in the middle of the nails of smallest toe/last finger indicates the presence of worms in the intestine .
  2. If the eyes of the patient are whitish  and there is no redness in the corner of eyes, it may denote anemic condition due to the presence of intestinal worms. 
Some obvious symptoms of intestinal worms for children  : 
  1. The presence of tiny white spots coming out of half moons on nails may indicate presence of the worms in the intestine. Tiny white spots on nails also signify zinc,calcium,iron and protein deficiency. 
  2. Discharge of saliva from the mouth during night .
  3. whitish eyes 
  4. Hurting pain on the outer side of nails of small toe/last finger of hands and legs .
