Reiki Attunements

Meaning of Attunement : 

 An attunement is a procedure where a person (master/guide/guru /spirit guide) passes on a specific energy structure/signature to another person energy body and/or energy centers (chakras). This enables the receiver to become a permanent channel for that specific energy.The best-known attunements are Reiki attunements.

Reiki Attunements :

Reiki is an ancient healing art that was (re) discovered by a Japanese monk called Mikao Usui. He received attunement from the super-consciousness  after he had fasted for about 3 weeks on a mountain. After a spiritual encounter, he found that he could heal ailments just by placing his hands on a place of concern. Usui's spiritual encounter had left an ”imprint” (attunement) in his spiritual bodies and chakras, which made him a permanent channel for the energy we today call Reiki (meaning universal life force). 

Reiki Attunement is the process of initiations by a reiki master transmitting energy to the pupil in than amplified state.  The action of the energy is in such a way that it creates an open channel for the cosmic energy to flow in from the top of the pupil's head, through the upper energy centres and out through the hands, for use in future treatment. Besides this, the vibratory rate of the body is amplified. 

One can become a reiki healer through the process of attunement, a powerful spiritual experience. Only a reiki master can do reiki attunements, as they are very precise. He channelises attunement energies into the pupil. and the pupil has not to go through the long period of spiritual cleansing and sadhana .

The process of reiki attunement is safe and without any pain. It only causes the body's energy channels to be opened and cleaned. What happened to the person who is being attuned is that he receives an increase in his life force energy for his healing and also gets connected to the universal source of this energy, thereby raising the vibratory rate of the body. 

The result of attunement is that an open channel is created for this energy to flow in from the pupil's crown ( top of the head ) pass through the upper energy centres and out through the hands.

The main purpose of the reiki attunement is to open up the physical body so that it may accept the higher quantity of life force energy. 

Once attuned to reiki energy , one can never lose it, even if not used for a long time. 

By the reiki attunement process, one gets a sense of one's true essence. This is the same feeling we get when we are enlightened. 

By completing the reiki attunement process one feels amplification of one's conscious awareness. The beginning of the attunement process is thus a step in the right direction.
