Sejal’s Story of Total Healing

Sejal a resident of Ahmadabad was a 58 year old widow. All her children had grown up and left home and settled in USA  and were now rearing families of their own. Being young in spirit she did not want to give up enjoying life to retreat into a dreary cabbage like existence of being glued to the idiot box and knitting cloths for her grandchildren. She liked mixing with people and enjoyed outdoor activities, but alas these things were threatened by an encroaching and very painful rheumatic problem which was afflicting her legs. Not being one to be beaten so easily she was determined to get around this problem somehow.She was a great believer in the power of mind and felt that somehow through this medium she would find a way of overcoming the rheumatism. She believed that this was a problem to be solved –a challenge –and not a sentence of suffering imposed on her by some cruel hand of fate, precisely the kind of attitude that 99% of other people placed in her position would have taken. Hence they remain ill and immobile to the end of their miserable days. Not only did she posses a strong urge to overcome her affliction she was also very concerned about the all the drugs being prescribed by for her by her general physician.

Such painkiller drugs she realized eased the pain but what were they doing to her body in the long terms?

   She seriously thought, with some justification, that continued dependence on such drugs could only cause irreparable damage to her system in long run and eventually increase the rheumatism by the lowering ability to resist the disease. Drugs, it is now well recognized and established as scientific fact, actually impair the body’s natural healing processes. So Sejal felt determined to beat the problem on two counts. Sejal wasted no time in accepting, and the happy twosomes were married in the local registry office six weeks later.  Virendra had two children from his previous marriage, and three grandchildren.Happy sparking Sejal was instant hit with them all, becoming both a mother and a grandmother to a brand new family in addition to her own.
